This course is designed to support English language, literacy, numeracy and general education skills to support increased community participation.
The 22471VIC Course in Initial General Education for Adults is aimed at adults with an intellectual disability, if you are culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD), if English is not your first language, or if you are looking to improve and develop your basic language, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy skills. Units are contextualised to include practical activities linked to your local community.
The course provides learners who have low literacy and numeracy skills with the opportunity to build confidence, re-engage with learning and pathway into AQF qualifications.
