Overview

The CHC22015 Certificate II in Community Services encompasses the skills and knowledge that are needed to assist others in a professional capacity. There are a multitude of people who need additional support and rely on the help of community services, such as senior citizens, disabled people, and people in crisis. In community services, every day is an opportunity to help someone.

Your training will focus on:

Working in community services
Ensuring health and safety of yourself and others
How to work with diverse people

Delivery mode

Face to face (with some independent self-study)
390 hours
Bendigo and surrounding Central Victoria regions

Job roles

Assessment

Assessment may consist of:

Practical demonstration
Written answers to questions
Scenario-based assessments

Entry Requirements

Eligibility for the SEE Program includes people who are:

either
- an Australian citizen or
- a permanent visa holder or
- on a provisional or temporary visa with working rights and eligible for the Adult Migrant English Program or
- a Pacific Australian Labour Mobility visa holder
and also:
- aged over 15 years and have left school, and
- need help with their reading, writing, maths, English language and digital skills.
